Stepping into a Registered Manager role brings real compliance responsibilities and leadership challenges from day one. We help new managers find their feet and lead a safe, well-run service with confidence.
You can work with us in whichever way suits you:
Support as and when you need it. Bring us in for a specific challenge, whether that is a notification, a difficult situation, getting your audits right, or preparing for something coming up. You choose what you need and when.
A guided programme through your first year as a Registered Manager, building your knowledge, systems and confidence step by step, from understanding your service to being ready for inspection.
Not sure which is right for you? Talk to us and we will help you find the best fit.
Whether you take the full programme or dip in for specific support, this is the ground we can cover with you.
Your role, the CQC framework, governance and the relationships that matter.
Quality assurance, supervision, care planning and safeguarding.
Performance, culture, staff development and confident leadership.
Evidence, the Provider Information Return, and preparing to showcase your service.
A clear understanding of what is expected of you as a Registered Manager, and how to deliver it.
The audits, supervision and governance to run a safe, well-led service.
Ad-hoc when you need it, or a structured programme through your first year.
Guidance from consultants who have led services, been Registered Managers or have clinical expertise.
No. Take the structured programme if you want guidance through your whole first year, or use ad-hoc support for just the parts you need. We will help you decide what works best.
You apply to the CQC to become a Registered Manager, and they assess your fitness for the role. You can start on the CQC's register as a new manager page. We help you prepare a strong application and get ready for your fit person interview.
Yes. Even experienced managers find it valuable when stepping into a new service or location, getting to grips with a new team, systems and inspection history quickly and confidently.
This service is aimed at new and recently appointed Registered Managers. If you are established and just need support with your service, our ongoing compliance support is the better fit.
We work with a range of health and care services, from care homes, home care and supported living to independent doctors, private clinics and mental health services.
Ad-hoc support is costed for the specific work involved, and the structured programme is a monthly arrangement. We will always confirm costs upfront before you commit.
